Providenciales, Turks & Caicos Islands, B.W.I.
Unobstructed Caribbean sunsets, privacy, and breathtaking views of brilliant turquoise waters are yours to enjoy at villa Seacliff.
The villa was built in 1990 with constant respect given to the natural flora and rock formations which have been further enhanced by the select planting of palm trees and interesting tropical plants and flowers. Seacliff, with its envious position at the tip of prestigious Ocean Point, offers you a view of the brilliant sea from each and every room. Outside, you will find numerous covered decks as well as open decks where you can enjoy colorful skies in the afterglow of sunset and see more stars than you thought possible. Steps lead right to the sea where you will find a 'foot-friendly' white, sandy bottom at a depth of 2-4 feet along this scenic shoreline; or walk, wade, or swim to nearby Taylor Beach, where you will find a large crescent-shaped, white sand beach which is almost always deserted.
At home, you may want to take a dip in the fresh-water pool, or sit on the terrace and breathe in air and scenery like nowhere else with trade winds bringing you an almost constant gentle breeze. Inside, you will find a tastefully furnished interior with Italian tile floors, paneled walls in a pickled finish, beamed and paneled ceilings (30 feet high in living room!), with an attractive exterior of weathered fir and cedar.
Life at Seacliff is truly delightful and may be summed up by a comment from a recent guest who said, while lying in the hammock, "it's so nice here, you just have to make yourself go out and have a good time."
So, while enjoying the quiet beauty of Seacliff, keep in mind that there are other amenities as well. Within easy reach are several tennis courts, a beautiful golf course and clubhouse, numerous restaurants, a casino, outstanding scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, sailing, and all other water sports. Its unique and romantic setting, desirable location, and attractive spacious design combine to make Seacliff an exceptional place to spend your next holiday.
Seacliff has four bedrooms, each opening onto exterior decks providing spectacular views of turquoise waters, beaches, and distant harbor. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan, air conditioning, and en-suite bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with self-cleaning oven, microwave, dishwasher, and more. Additionally, there is a TV receiving over 30 cable channels, a nice stereo system for CD's and cassette tapes, and there is a washer and dryer, plus other amenities.
Turks & Caicos Islands - British, West Indies
Providenciales (Provo) - Geographically located at the southern tip of the Bahama chain but politically British, Provo offers an away-from-it-all destination with spectacular beaches and friendly people. The climate is perfect, in the 80s year round with comfortable trade winds ever present. No wonder these islands are called "The Isles of Perpetual June," for here it is not too hot nor too cold any time of the year.
The topography too is just right. The island is not too flat nor is it too mountainous, but gently rolling with views of the sea from just about everywhere you go. Should you go to a beach you will find the sand to be as white as sugar with the only footprints in the sand being your own, or go snorkeling in gin clear water and see fish and coral containing all the colors of a Provo sunset. Scuba diving too can provide underwater scenery like nowhere else, for here the diving is regarded as among the best in the world. Likewise for bonefishing with flats, coves, and holes almost certain to make your reel sing on the first cast. And there's easy fishing inside the reef where you will bring back snapper and jack, or try your luck in the deep blue for wahoo, tuna, and marlin. By land there's tennis, golf, shopping, sightseeing and numerous restaurants.
The nights here are clear, so clear in fact, a quarter moon casts a shadow and a full moon lights up the entire landscape. Entertainment at night is mostly the person you are with; however, the inns and hotels on the island have good restaurants with friendly bars set in comfortable, tropical surroundings where spontaneous get-togethers will produce a few laughs and interesting conversation. A number of free-standing restaurants too are quite good - some being owned and operated by Turks Islanders, offering native dishes and other selections, plus restaurants headed by European chefs as well as a couple of Chinese restaurants. There is also a Mexican/pizza place and several bakeries.
There are grocery stores, liquor stores, doctors and lawyers, car rentals, churches, sailboat excursions, and even a casino. Of course, some other islands may have these amenities too, but few will have the friendly people and kindness found in these islands. Right now, Provo is an unspoiled sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of today's pace. Provo is what a lot of places used to be. These are the 'good old days'in Provo.
In addition to the good living and good times awaiting you here, you will be additionally pleased to know there are no property taxes or income taxes, and though the country is a British crown colony, the U.S. dollar is the official currency. A new airport has recently opened with jets arriving nonstop from Miami - flying time an hour and twenty minutes -
