Southeast of Miami, 575 miles and a world away, lies a tranquil eight island archipelago surrounded by the richest blue-green water on earth. This balmy setting is home to our vessel, the Turks & Caicos Aggressor.
In Turk & Caicos, underwater visibility reigns supreme due to its north Caribbean locale. It provides perfect conditions for uncovering the mysteries of the 7,000 foot wall and unblemished reefs. These warm, tropical waters provide a wilderness refuge for a spectacular array of coral walls, drop-offs and ledges which, in turn, house a bustling eco-system of large sea turtles and sharks, massive barracuda, African pompano, schools of eagle rays, and even migrating humpback whales. And that's just the beginning.
The waters are renowned for their wild and tame dolphins, such as JoJo, and for the hundreds of schooling nurse sharks which converge in French Cay two months of the year, for a fascinating spectacle seen nowhere else in the world.
